Nourish your body, mind, and spirit in a 5-day immersion of playful, energizing, and transformative qigong practices.
Discover how guardian qigong fosters our innate capacity for resourcefulness, open-heartedness, sensitivity, courage, and protection from negative forces.
In this 5-day workshop, you learn qigong practices associated with the celestial guardians, which the ancient Chinese discovered as they looked to the skies as a way to help us live in harmony. There, they saw five sacred animals: the green dragon, vermillion bird, yellow snake, white tiger, and black tortoise.
Each of these animals was believed to steady and safeguard the peaceful movements of the planets and stars, guiding us toward the possibility of finding peace here on Earth. Described since ancient times in Chinese myth and Daoist teachings, the guardians also later became Buddhist symbols of insight, wisdom, and compassion.
I will shares playful, spirited qigong practices associated with each of these animals, along with deeper contemplative wisdoms from Buddhism and Daoism.
Importantly, you explore how qigong not only supports overall health but also encourages a freer and more spacious way to be in this world. All levels are welcome.
Please note: I am not taking bookings for or organizing this programme. Please visit Omega institute by clicking the link below for all details and information on accommodations, pricing and schedule. Thank you!
