Heartfulness: A Daoist Flow Summer retreat

heartfulness:

A DAOIST FLOW SUMMER RETREAT

with mimi kuo-deemer and jean hall
Mon - FRI, July 10 - 14, 2023
Florence House, East Sussex

“This was my first retreat ever! I’m hooked. We shared an incredible time together and I met some gorgeous human souls who all came with open and enquiring minds. Would definitely recommend this one.” - Luiza Cruz
Mimi and Jean are delighted to another Daoist Flow retreat near the beautiful cliffs of England's south coast in East Sussex. Any retreat is an opportunity to go into more depth personally, away from the normal demands and routines of daily life.  In this retreat, we'll be offering you space to unwind, reset, and rebalance yourself through restoring practices of yoga, qigong and somatic movement.  Therapies will also be available to book, and you'll have plenty of space for some rest, good times and laughs.  We hope you can join!

Each day there will be qigong, meditation, and yoga/somatic practice sessions in the morning and afternoon.  Some evenings will include yoga nidra. All levels are welcome.

About Daoist Flow: Daoist Flow explores the interconnectedness of yoga, qigong, somatics and natural movement with the underlining intention to touch in on our natural compassion and inner joy. It begins from the idea that everything is part of the whole, a belief found within both Yoga and Daoist traditions. From this starting point of interconnectedness, our practices will align us with this sense of wholeness. This opens us to discover our full potential and inherent wisdom, fluidity and ease within ourselves.

meals

The meals at Florence House will be vegetarian. All their dairy, bread and dry goods are organic and where possible produce from their own organic garden.  The chefs are happy to offer special meals for anyone with dietary requirements or allergies; please make sure to let us know if you have any special needs and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

There is unlimited tea, coffee, fresh water, a fruit bowl and biscuits available all day long.
