Muscle Tendon Changing Classics (Yi Jing Jing) - A 4-Week Course
This 4-week course will cover the Muscle Tendon Changing Classics, or Yi Jing Jing. These practices do as advertised – strengthen and change our muscles and tendons, making them stronger and more supple. They also work to support our bone density, immunity and overall mental and emotional health. The forms have goofy names, too, such as 'Turning Nine Cows Around by Their Tails', which makes them all the more fun to practice.
In each 90 minutes session, we will break down each of the 12 forms that comprise this practice. By the end, you will have a practice that you can continue to refine on your own!
Open to all levels. Live participation in all four sessions is best, though recordings will also be made available to those who cannot attend live.
Requirements:
1. Openness to learning.
2. A working camera and video turned on.
3. Goofiness balanced with earnest dedication.
Cost:
This course will be based on dana, or generosity. A suggested donation is £20-50 for all four sessions. If you are furloughed or unemployed, you are welcome to attend this course for free.
This course is currently fully booked. If you'd like to join a waitlist, please email enquiries@mkdeemer.com.
