Weekend yoga retreat with Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo-Deemer
Friday - Sunday, February 17 - 19, 2017
Commonwork Farms, Kent
Mimi and Jean are delighted to host a weekend retreat for the TT17 intake in the beautiful countryside in Kent. Any retreat is an opportunity to go into more depth personally, away from the normal demands and routines of daily life. In this retreat, we'll be offering space for exploring more advanced practices of yoga as well as meditation, pranayama and yoga nidra -- with plenty of space for some restoration, good times and laughs. We hope you can join!
Jean and Mimi will each teach a long asana class Saturday and Sunday morning. Friday and Saturday evenings Jean will lead a yoga nidra practice, and Saturday and Sunday mornings they will each teach pranayama and meditation. On Saturday afternoon, a special workshop will also be offered for the group, as well as good down-time to relax and unwind.
About Commonwork
Commonwork Farm's historic Bore Place House is a spacious converted barn and 19th century stables in the heart of peaceful Kent countryside. Set on a working organic dairy farm, Commonwork offers green and eco-friendly stays. There are a number of beautifully restored cottages, all set within delightful organic gardens with acres of rolling Kent countryside to explore. Outdoor seating areas and access to beautiful gardens and the larger estate for walks and picnics. Enjoy the woods, nature ponds and meadows on the farm trail. Yoga sessions will be held inside the Large Barn, a sensitively restored 17th century timber barn with timber sprung floor and large doors opening out onto the courtyard. Best is it's only 35 min by train from Central London.
