Fully booked! Please join the waitlist using the form below.
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 2:00 – 5:00pm
Location: Stonesfield Village Hall, Oxfordshire, UK
Description:
Finding a balance of strength and softness is a key principle in Taiji (Taichi) and other internal martial arts. How can we learn to embody this balance through movement and forms within our own practice? By finding a quiet, attentive, non-forceful state when meeting another person’s touch.
In this three-hour workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn principles of the foundational practices of tui shou 推手 (push hands) and ting jin 听劲 (feeling force). These will develop, deepen and refine your understanding of the martial applications of movements. It will also deepen your ability to listen and cultivate greater strength and softness in your practice.
All levels are welcome. Come play, explore and enjoy discovering the insights you can learn from relational movement.
